Community Careers and Jobs area. Within this flowing WebPages

The Sir. Community is a
not for profit organization, historically specializing in community
management, teamwork, filmmaking. Due to a change in the gaming
environment and increasing demand for 'ingame films', The Sir.
Community has now become ever more specialized in filmmaking. As a
result the community has greatly changed.
The Community due to the
need for change in this ever shifting market, has increased the
structure and objects and events necessary to foster strong
filmmaking. As a result the community has become less 'free
roaming', more structured and defined and this choice has opened the
door for many more new members.
The Community before was
a free roaming enterprise, that has it hands in everything it wished
to be in. The idea behind the community was that; when you are alone
it is very hard and costly for you to own anything that makes your
life fun or more enjoyable, but though collective resource pooling
we can all share our abilities and profit mutuality from them. Our
Goal was to exist, it was a very simple enterprise. The problem that
became is that is lacked the structure needed to do anything of a
strenuous type, and the people it attracted are people who did not
want to work, rather they wish to enjoy the community and have a
good time - as it was the communities goal. To exist in a filming
world, that has to change - and so it has. The Community now has
become more structured more independent and more focused.
As a result we are
looking for people who can pull their weight, are focused to the The
Community's goals, hand handle work and are skilled people of their
field. It is understood in a non paying, non profit organization,
that you have other jobs and responsibility, and the workload will
reflect this. The aim of The Sir. Community, is not to get you to
work to make me or some one money. It is to get you/people with the
skill and abilities needed, to help work together like in the past,
sharing our expertise in a strong working environment, to help the
community grow for everyone.
You may be a master in
marketing, but cannot even fathom the filmmaking process or create a
image to save your life. In the Current Community, this is not a
problem. Everyone has their own job to that they are reasonable and
will be held accountable to. In this example - presuming you applied
and now work for The Community, you would would assist with your
co-workers the Filming department. In this case you may make images
with a Artist in your department, giving him consultation. With this
image it Could go towards a promotional material that then generates
more demand and new members that in turn assists the filming
department grow and complete the film.
So as you can see,
everyone in their own way works to assist the community to grow -
The members being the heart and soul of The Community, all the way
up to the administration that makes sure everything is there and
running for the members.

Description |

The Director of Marketing is
responsible for maintaining and achieving The
Community's Image, while at the same time researching
and developing new and better ways to promote and enhance
the community Image. Though careful management of
his/her subordinates the director of marketing performs
these tasks. The Director of marketing is responsible to
motivate and provide work to;
- A Media Support
Agent.
- A Promotional
Support Agent.
The Media Support agent,
will perform duties in relation to the creation of
marketing materials, such as posters and graphical ad's
and icons. The Promotional Support agent, will perform
duties in relation to the creation of text based
materials, such as news posts, forum posts, e-mails.
As Department Head, The
Director of Marketing, will also be responsible for
moderating/creating all contextual content relating to
the community that is exposed to the public. Ensuring
that it will continue to maintain our image and lead
towards achieving our goals.
As the Director of
marketing, you may be called upon to represent the
community in events or conferences, so people skills are
a must.

Requirements |

Must
have some form of previous marketing experience
preferably a course taken at the college level.

Must be
online at least 5 hours a night.

Must
understand basic business concepts.

Must
have good interpersonal skills.

Must be
understanding of The Community's goals and be
willing to work towards them.
